Headline: Gave Them Five Apiece: Justice Meted Out to Purloiners of Ewell¿s Blankets

James Price and Morris Fletcher [not pictured] were charged in the Police Court yesterday afternoon with stealing two pairs of blankets, the property of S. Ewell & Co. They admitted having the stolen property in their possession, but claimed that they got it from another man to sell. Judge Raish found the defendants guilty and ordered that they be confined in the County Jail for five months each. [December 23, 1904]
